The Studio Of Jo Ann Vice

Jo Ann Woods-Vice was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Chicago with her family when she was nine years old . On completing elementary school, she attended Roger B. Sullivan High School, where she studied Art in the eleventh and twelfth grades.

After graduation, they moved again to California, where again Jo Ann majored in Art in college., studying photography and engineering drawing, as well as painting, pen and ink and advertising art.   

After a hiatus of a number of  years during which she worked as a model, physical education instructor AND mother, she again took up her paint brushes and worked in the less physical but no less rewarding job of motherhood combined with Art. Then came many years in the Fashion Industry..and away went the paints again, but you can’t keep a good brush down!  She’s at it again, and this time it’s for the long run.. Living in the mountains with her husband of twenty years, musician Tony Vice, she paints, occasionally sings with him, and generally enjoys so called “retired” life.
