Our membership is made up of individuals from across the spectrum of Democrats. We invite those interested in learning about the Tehachapi Mountain Democratic Club to attend one of our meetings.

Our meetings usually features a speaker, often from the Tehachapi area, speaking on issues ranging from local, county and state concerns to topics of national importance.
Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month (With the exception of July and December when social events are held in lieu of normally scheduled meetings.)  Please email me (below) for time and location of meetings.

The Tehachapi Mountain Democratic Club has elected new officers for a two year term.

Mari Goodman has taken the lead as President.

“This is off to a great start with the new leadership in the Democratic party and the continued momentum of Democrats everywhere!” Goodman said.

Eboard members elected are: Jerry Palmer, Christine Ashely, Rick Zanutto, Walter Buck, John Sims and Ginny Tunks.

Some of the activities involved the Fourth of July BVS voter registration, attending the first Executive Eboard meeting of the California Democratic Convention and a huge successful kick off of the Women’s Caucus, of which Mari Goodman is the Southern California Vice Chair.

Call for participation in the Mountain Festival Parade and voter registration booth and the 20th Anniversary of the TMDC celebration picnic Aug. 29 at Brite Lake. For more information, call Mari at 557-1363.
