Hello Tony
My name is Elaine Clarke from Omagh in Northern Ireland. We have a small music shop, called Route 66, which is closed at the moment until October. We had to do the same last year as it’s not feasible keeping a music shop open all year round.
Now, whilst our shop is closed, I help on a voluntary basis in a radio station in Co Monaghan in Ireland. We play a wide range of irish and american country music. The station is called Radio Star Country. We would love to give some airplay to your CD - Music From Redwing Ranch. I was wondering if you would be willing to send me a copy for the station. Came across a small item about you in the Tehachapi paper, and I wondered if you were the same Tony Vice I remembered from the local “Watering Hole and General Community Meeting House” in Altadena, California in the late 1980’s. (You probably wouldn’t remember me.) Looking at the picture yes, it’s you. I see you have a CD with some of your music from those days available- I used to have your “Sampler” cassette. It’s a good thing that the music remains. That’ll work! Best of luck to you.

Of course I remember the Rancho Saloon. We once bought a goat at the horse auction in El Monte and brought her into the bar, where she shit on the floor. Great times in Altadena. I dropped in for a drink a while back, when I was appearing at a nearby coffee house. Same old place. Get in touch at redwing@wildblue.net.
